Read the case study from Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust + Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust looking at how Concentric is supporting their elective recovery.

The NHS England digital playbooks have been developed to support clinical teams to reimagine and redesign care pathways by showcasing tried and tested technologies to solve real-world problems. Digital consent was highlighted as one such technology in this year’s perioperative digital playbook:

Here are some of the highlights!

“Remote consent pathways are supporting recovery from the pandemic and reducing theatre cancellations. It’s estimated that the solution reduces day-of-surgery delays and cancellations by around 10%.”

“Clinicians have more confidence in the quality of the consent process … reduce medico-legal costs in the medium term … increase in shared decision making (SDM) quality … shift away from on-the-day consent.”

“91% of patients gave their experience of the Concentric consent process 4 or 5 stars out of 5.”
