Who we are

Be at the forefront of transforming how patients and clinicians make decisions together. This is a rare opportunity to join an award-winning healthtech company where your research will directly impact patient care across the NHS and beyond. Design, coordinate and execute on research and innovation projects that drive our product forwards, and evidence our impact.
The opportunity
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented researcher to become the driving force behind Concentric's evidence base and innovation pipeline. We're seeking a dedicated research professional to coordinate our expanding research portfolio, secure innovation funding, and showcase our impact to the healthcare community. As our Research and Innovation Associate, you'll have the unique chance to bridge clinical research with cutting-edge health technology, creating measurable improvements in patient experience and clinical outcomes.
You'll work as the right-hand to our Chief Medical Officer and Co-founder, Edward St John – a Consultant Breast Surgeon and Associate Professor, with extensive domain expertise in consent and shared decision making. This close collaboration offers unparalleled access to clinical expertise and leadership mentoring, positioning you at the heart of strategic decision-making.
Working as the central coordinator for all research and innovation activities, you'll manage multiple workstreams simultaneously — building evidence, collaborating with external partners, securing funding, and communicating findings — requiring someone who can confidently operate at the intersection of healthcare research and commercial technology development.
Your impact
As the right hand to the CMO, you'll translate ideas into actionable research plans that help shape the future of Concentric Health. You'll coordinate across multiple workstreams, building evidence that demonstrates our clinical value while identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, giving you visibility across the entire organisation. Concentric is the most used digital consent application in the UK, used by over a million patients annually with 18,000 active clinicians. Your findings will influence product development, inform clinical practice, and ultimately improve patient care in direct and tangible ways.
