Semble integration

Semble is a practice management system widely used in the private sector. Concentric and Semble have collaborated to enable patient records created in Semble to be viewed directly within Concentric, eliminating the need for manual record creation and reducing the risk of transcription errors.

How it works

Patients within your Semble account can be searched for within Concentric using the Semble System ID, which is the default identifier in Semble and is displayed below the patient’s name.

Enabling the integration

To use the integration between Semble and Concentric, you need to be subscribed to both services. To sign up with Concentric, please complete our contact form and mention that you are a Semble user.

To link your Semble and Concentric accounts, you will need to provide us with API access. An outline of this process is described in Semble’s API guide; however, we will support you through this process and guide you in securely sending the API access key to us.

Planned work

The integration is currently limited to patient demographics. We plan to extend the integration in the following ways:

  • Consent PDF integration: There is a second phase of work for the Concentric team to do to enable automated sending of consent PDFs back into Semble when consent is given.
  • Launch in patient context: We would like to make it possible to open a Concentric record directly from the same patient record in Semble. This ‘patient-context launch’ is not currently possible within Semble, but it is being considered as a future product update.
