Based in England? Digital consent been on your Trust’s wish list? Funding been the blocker?
NHSE’s £15–20m 2026/27 Referrals and Appointments transformation fund (requires NHS Futures access) could be your route in. The fund is a strong fit for Trusts considering Concentric, and we believe bids involving us have a strong chance of success. Bids close on the 31st May 2026, and discussion with your regional team is required before submission, so the window to act is tight.
Specifically, offer 3a provides funding and support to: “transform and standardise Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) priority pathways, Elective Care Programme priority pathways … where digital pathway transformation will deliver measurable impact”.
Why bids involving Concentric have a strong chance of success
There are five specific reasons we think a bid involving Concentric is well-positioned.
Featured across GIRFT’s outpatient transformation and consent work, and is recognised to support delivery
The GIRFT urology outpatient transformation guide names Concentric as an example of a system that supports remote consent, supporting elective care pathway transformation. GIRFT has also undertaken a digital consent review that includes Concentric. Thirdly, we were a development partner in the GIRFT national standardised consent forms programme (requires NHS Futures access), which leveraged Concentric’s clinical content.
NHS England supported innovation
Concentric is one of NHS England’s NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) innovations, identified by NHS England as an innovation to support in reaching national scale across the NHS.
Deliverable within the 2026/27 financial year
With Concentric in use across 30+ NHS Trusts, we have deep delivery experience, supported by resources like our delivery playbook and by structures such as availability on all major NHS procurement frameworks, including G-Cloud. Together, these make in-year outcomes possible.
Projects involving us have been selected through previous similar national funding rounds
Concentric has been successfully included in bids funded through previous NHS England initiatives, including the Adoption Fund and the Health Technology Adoption and Accelerator Fund (HTAAF). We’ve supported those bid and delivery processes end-to-end, and we can do the same here.
There’s an active route to integrate Concentric with the NHS App via NHS Notify
We’ve started conversations with NHS Notify about surfacing Concentric notifications within the NHS App. We believe a bid that introduces Concentric and also supports an NHS Notify integration, connecting Concentric activity into the NHS App, would have a particularly high chance of success given how directly it aligns with the programme’s NHS App ambitions.
How Concentric maps onto the bid criteria
There is now a mature evidence base for digital consent, as outlined in our research overview. This evidence maps to the areas the funding criteria and proposal form ask for, and we can help support a narrative around it, tailored to your bid and local context.
