Patient support codes
The most common reason patients contact our support team is that they are having difficulty logging in because their date of birth does not match the details recorded in their healthcare organisation’s patient record. Historically, resolving this required an often lengthy back-and-forth between the patient and our support team to identify the correct Concentric consent episode — a frustrating process for everyone involved and one that often delayed access to consent information.
We’re now able to identify the relevant consent episode directly from the information submitted via a support form. This enables us to route patients straight to their healthcare organisation to resolve the underlying issue quickly and simply.

Auto-selection of registry additional consents
Many organisations use additional consents in Concentric to support national registry submissions — for example, the National Joint Registry or the British Spine Registry. Until now, these could be added to templates as unselected elements, but not automatically added and selected.
Some partners have found that completion rates for registry consent in Concentric have been lower than expected. Investigations by these organisations have shown that this is often due to clinicians overlooking the relevant checkbox. To support compliance efforts, organisations can now configure registry consents to be automatically added and pre-selected on relevant templates.
National Joint Registry consent update
With tens of orthopaedic departments across the UK and Jersey using Concentric to record NJR consent, we have worked with the National Joint Registry team to refine how the NJR additional consent is structured and presented in a digital format.
The updated version provides clearer granularity around consent for storing contact details, expands the explanation of the registry’s purpose and work, and outlines how to contact the NJR Centre if required. This update reflects the NJR’s approved Concentric digital consent wording and supports organisations in maintaining accurate and compliant registry submissions.
Semble integration
Semble is a leading patient management system widely used in private practice. You can now integrate your Concentric account with your Semble account! This integration allows patient records created in Semble to be viewed directly within Concentric, removing the need to manually recreate records and reducing the risk of transcription errors. Read further details about the integration and how to enable it in our Semble integration page.
